RHEL4.  An NO shutdown between those snaps.  It has something to do
with os level stats.  I've tried statistics_level=ALL, TYPICAL, etc...
To no avail.  What do you think of this TAR:   	4468867.995.  I don't
know if public can see it.  Funny thing is, it used to work.  Then
after I loaded a 40-50GB of data and going live, I returned to use the
tool a week or two later, and KABLOOEY.  Broke.
