Christophe,  after the power outage you probably should have checked
the alert log to see what messages were appearing.  If Oracle was
recovering you should have waited it out.  If Oracle was hung then you
could have issued shutdown abort and restarted it so crash recovery
would be performed.



I would try stopping and restarting the Oracle service.  If the new
password doesn't work then try the old one.
