That is a strange requirement. You put a segment into a tablespace, which itself is just a bunch of datafiles. Now if you have a table that consists of several segments (LOBs, Partitioning) then it can spann multiple Tablespaces depending on where the segments are placed.

Now instead of telling what the technical requirement allegedly is, would you care to share the business case?
