If you had created your databases using DBCA, then the database information would have been regsitered as a resource in Oracle's Cluster Reday Services(CRS). By default, database resources are auto start resources. When CRS starts up, it starts the database. And CRS is started on reboot by the init.d scripts.

You can use "crs_stat -t" to find the resources registered with CRS. Received on Sat Jun 18 2005 - 13:22:11 CDT
