Suddenly recompile package become so slow

Hi All,

This is very interesting.
Suddenly today, one developer come to me and said he recompile all his objects cause 20 minutes+. It used to be like a few minutes.

I saw his session has a "DIRECT PATH READ". Each developer has his or her own schema. So recompile he/her own object should not interfere with anyone else.

So this is a little bit strange to me.
I look at "top" in the unix machine.
Very low, and I look at V$lock and very few . And V$session_wait, also look normal.

Anyone has experience this before??
