Helpful suggestion, but I'm more concerned about security patches than
full patchsets; I don't gather that security patches will be reflected
in that select statement. Plus (sadly), I can't bring up the db on my
failover server without actually failing over to it. So what I'd really
need is something that can be done from outside the database.
