It is also an unmeaningful question in that the notion of "market share" is difficult to formulate for a piece of software which, since it does not have any organization that owns the right to licensing fees, doesn't realistically factor in to have a well-defined notion of either "market" or "share" of that market.

If it isn't "sold," then using the term "market" is misleading, at best...
