You keep on talking about something I don't care about. I have control on all the database, including local/remote.

I don't want to change the initsid.ora , I just want to change this specific SQL (doing index fast full scan) execution behavior.

My above sample just shows I want to get such a result. I can't change the session doing index ffs 's DFMBC. I am trying to get that changed at that statement leve.

I don't want to create a logon trigger and do alter session set db_file_multiblock_read_count=128 for that session. Received on Wed May 25 2005 - 01:15:05 CDT
