Sounds familiar ;-) Sorry but I really can not work with the kind of system administrator that has no patience at all (sorry I have to leave at 5), can only install software by clicking on Next .. Next .. Finish, and doesn't bother reading ANY manual or doing ANY basic research prior to a new installation. The "ease" of installing Windows operating systems/software has in my opinion lead to a decrease of good quality sysadmins.
