I have been attending Oracle 10g: New features for administrators two weeks ago (btw: total waste of time, one of the worst Oracle trainings at all) and they said there that one of the new features is that 10g OUI is able to cleanly uninstall everything what was installed. Maybe it is good idea to try it and clean only things left behind afterwards.
