LDAP challenge user auth.

I have my DB pinging the LDAP server and getting user info. That all works fine, but now we want to make a few changes to an app.

Right now, the user can log into the app using NT account authorization from their machine. We want to add the capability for someone to log in to the app from someone else's pc. To do this, we want to challenge them for there NT account login and PW. The user already has to be inside the firewall to access the app. Can I send a username/PW to the LDAP server and have pass/fail result returned? How would I do this?

Thanks. Received on Mon May 09 2005 - 17:43:22 CDT
