Bad idea. Oracle's LDAP has come a LONG way since then.

You really want to change your tactics and go for Oracle's Internet Directory component of the Identity Management (IM) area in the Oracle App Server 10g.

OID = Oracle's LDAP implementation.

BTW: IM is part of the Infrastructure of the App Server.
