Hi,

Database version - 8.1.7

How much data can you put in v$session_longops using dbms_application_info?
We plan to use dbms_application_info to log the run time status of our processes. So wanted to know the limit, so that data from one process do not overwrite the data of another process.

Also I have observed that the data persists in v$session_longops even when you exit from the session (8.1.7). When is the data actually get purged?
