Well that's a refreshing change. But I can understand the thinking behind it - as a smaller developer, the cost of any speculative development like Oracle is a consideration. Esp. as we get MS SQL "free" as part of MSDN - the incentive to support Oracle is less. But as we can now at least get a server set-up and experiment to find the incompatabilities, we're more inclined to do it.
