drop XMLCONCAT (function/synonym) on applying 9.2.0.6?

When I applied the 9.2.0.4 patchset (Windows), the instructions said to drop the XMLCONCAT function and synonym before the install. I have made a fresh install of 9.2.0.1 on a Win 2003 server, but do not see any mention of dropping XMLCONCAT prior to applying 9.2.0.6 .... is this still needed? (am guessing 'no' since it is not mentioned, but ...). Thanks,
