This is a system that I installed at home to try to start to learn Oracle (plus a truckload of books! - mostly O'Reilly and Tom Kyte) - I guess I tried to install something that needs a network, and, as I said, it failed half-way through with an out of memory error.

When asking database related questions, please give other posters 
some clues, like operating system, version of db being used and DDL.
The exact text and/or number of error messages is useful (!= "it didn't work!").
