I appreciate the feedback. The local account you suggested looks to be the most appropriate. The problem I'm having now is trying to determine exactly what permissions are required by the Oracle Service. I tried using a regular user account with the addition of Log On as Service right but that does not appear to be sufficient to connect to the Database. Would anyone happen to know what permissions are required or point me in the right direction.
