Check what is in the linux logfile, like /var/log/messages etc. Also check whether there is known issue in your linux kernel.

Do you enable the async IO? some version has their async io broken.

Also try to set filesystemio_options=dirct, to reduce the load on linux virutal memoory. See whether this helps. Received on Sun Apr 17 2005 - 09:47:20 CDT
