Hi All,



We have a 4 CPU, 8 GB RAM Sun Solaris Server here. Planning to use ODM
10.0.1. My mining table is expected to have around 4,00,000 rows and
60-70 columns. Have couple of queries,



a)What should be thumb rules for tuning SGA related parameters and how
do these differ from a normal Data Warehouse tuning set.



b)How can one estimate number of cpu's and RAM requirement for a data
mining exercise?
