Thanks. In my work environment it is not possible to do the kind o benchamraks you are suggesting because development servers are shared and too many other things are going on.

I, therefore, wanted to know opinions of experts, especially since they had pointed varous problems with ASSM in Oracle 9i in non RAC environment.
