are you creating a spool file of the output? do you have comments in the form of /* some comment here */ in it? are you using dbms_application_info in the script?

if you tail -f the output of the spool file, you ought to be able to determine where you are in its execution.

As always, the lack of version and os info leads to little more than uniformed guesses. (translation: list oracle server info, client info for best results).
