If you are already installed and have a database up already you can ditch the templates (pre-supplied databases).

You can find them ( well at least 9i and below ) in the ORACLE_HOME/assistants/dbca/templates directory

If running windows you could search for a directory named assistants and look under dbca.

( dbca is for database creation assistant not really needed anymore if your database is already up and running ).

In some circumstances ditching stuff "after the install" can cause problems but one can always hack around and re-install on a laptop.
