ORA-03113 is frequently traced back to a shared memory issue (not enough), but that is not consistent as the 3113 is more of a generic 'something stopped working' message.
Did you check the patch README to determine which init.ora parms have been affected in the upgrade. It almost seems like there's been an obscure init.ora twiddle - iirc, people went for the undocumented parameters to make the system install properly on RH7 ... do you have an parameters that start with an underscore in the init file?
Any hints in the Alert.log? or the SQLNet log?
How soon will you be able to move up to a supported configuration? I suspect in the long run upgrading will help you more than trying to resolve this problem.
(Rhetorical question - best to ignore it: Is this a typical story in which it's production, can't move it, never bothered with support, been running [illegally] on the free developer's license, etc. <g>)
