Hello,

I realize that I need to bring my Unix knowledge to upto speed to be able to do Oracle DB Admin.

I have to know (in more detail) the following:

  1. raw devices, logical volumes, cooked, c0t0d0s4, etc..
  2. file systems
  3. block device, raw device
  4. Type of file system best suited for Oracle, etc..

Can someone suggest a good basic book for learning the above mentioned things. Thanks
