shutdown was unclean.


did you perform a shutdown abort?


did the filesystem get "sync'd" prior to the file copy?
more than likely the log that its asking for has not yet been archived,
it is the current online redo log.


view the prior alert log and determine what the current online redo log
was, and apply it.
