migrating ora 8.1.6 to 10g

Hi,


under a windows 1000 box, i want to migrate my 8.1.6 DB to 10G (10.1.0.2) .
After installing the 10g DB and lunching the migrate wizard,
it answer me that it can't find the version of my DB :

ORA-20000 : unrecognized database version
ORA-06512 : at line 809
ORA-06512 : at line 3471.





what is the best solution for my problem ?
