Sorry, I do not have the specifics. I do know that the delete o truncate was where there was no where clause. I just saw the delete and told the upgrade consultant about the change. He is only with us a couple a days a week now. I will ask him about it on Tuesday.

We upgraded 7.5 o 8.4. This upgrade took us about 2 years before we got it down to under 48 hours (and 3 different upgraders). The actual upgrade took just over 24 hours (it ran much faster then during testing because the machine always had users running reports and stuff during our time runs) - including some testing before we handed it over to the users for testing.

1 thing I know we did was turn off archive log mode until the end. What a difference that made alone. My recommendations came very late in the process, so only a few were ever used. Received on Fri Feb 04 2005 - 12:58:38 CST
