Actually since information moves around between versions I believe that
Connor is referring to the chapter on Schema Objects which is ch 10 in
the version 9.2 Concepts manual and Ch 5 in the version 10g manual.



Information about schema objects is maintained in the RDBMS dictionary
tables.  Oracle uses SQL to access and maintain these tables.
