Conceptually, yes, you are right. Chained rows as consequence of linesize and migrated rows - DML scenarios. To find distinction between them, played with dumping data bloks and in our scenarios migration was represented as leaving just header in original block (flag H) and in migration example there was also a part of data (H and F flags).

Found usefull info from Lewis about nrid (to find next block) ad also somewhere before in this group mentioned link http://www.tlingua.com/articles/rc.html
