hmm.. wonder if a little of that might not have already been built in. On my Win2k machine, while switching back and forth between telnet sessions to Solaris and local command prompts, I often inadvertenly enter an 'ls -l' command at the local dos prompt. Lo and behold, it returns a Unix-like file listing!
