We recently received a cold call from Old American, Inc. ( www.oladamericaninc.com ), pitching us on a new product of theirs, DataDrone3 ( http://www.oldamericaninc.net/datadrone3.html ). DataDrone3 is a tool to migrate Informix 7.x and 9.x databases to Oracle. Old American speaks very highly of the effectiveness of their product in converting both schema (tables, triggers, routines, etc.) and source code (ESQL, etc.).

I have not found any references or dicsussions concerning this product on the web, but, then again, it is very new.

Might anyone have any familiarity with DataDrone3 for migrating Informix databases to Oracle.

Thank you.
