OK I intended Windows *Developers* or Windows *Systems Admins* rather than users. Just setup an ODBC datasource on the client pc (whether end-user or web server) and expect it to work. When asked 'Have you installed any Oracle software?' the genuinely confused response is 'No. Do I need to?'
