Michael, Yes "create or replace" statments are also used for procedure,
functions, and packages. Check the SQL manual. Michel posted a link
to online available documentation unfortunately he did not bother to
identify the document, nor did he point out that a technet
userid/password is required to see the document. Being that your
question was very basic I am going to consider the possibility that you
may be unaware of the technet site. The url is
