Anyone who willingly accepts a contract beyond their abilities has done a grave disservice to that client. It is clear that tho OP has stepped far beyond his expertise on this assignment, and he deserves to be informed of this. My advice was, in my opinion, helpful, and is similar to that provided by Howard J. Rogers, whom you chose NOT to villify in print.
