Usual problems, I fear. Too much installed, and of the wrong kind. First off, no Java installation is necessary at all for 10g to be installed. Second, start with a clean installation of Windows if it isn't already. Third, no DHCP please. Fourth, it would be better to install Oracle first, and Service Pack 2 afterwards. But fifth, so long as the firewall is turned off, you should be OK even with SP2.
