Install of 10g on WinXP Sp2

Downloaded the install of 10g. File is 10g_win32_db.zip. Extract the files from the zip.

First I tried the setup.exe from the Disk1 folder but that did nothing.

Then checked the autorun.inf which points to the autorun folder and the autorun.exe. Tried that and the installer window comes up. Click the install and nothing happens except that the installer window disappears. I have downloaded latest java from Sun as well.

Any ideas?
