Oracle is the only application running on the server.

The main thing that I have noticed is from Task Manager that without doing the analzye prior to the run the cpu time for oracle jumps from 13:19:15 ot 16:41:16 and memory usage increases.

When the analyze is done cpu time goies from 13:27:52 to 14:05:48 and memory usage decreases.

I just can't grasp why there would be such a change in times when the analyze is not run twice a day.

Are there some queries that would be good for me to execute while the jobs are running? Received on Mon Dec 06 2004 - 15:07:51 CST
