8.1.7 patch, what's the latest and where can it be obtained?

I had a nasty DB error with comma separated items in tables with NULL 
arguments, that lead to erroneous DB behaviour. A colleague told me that
this problem had been fixed by a patch to Oracle 8.1.7 of some level, he was
speaking of 8.1.7.4 (if I understood him correctly). All I can find
8.1.7 Release 3.
