Hi Yang,



In one of your previous post, u mentioned about Data Guard with RAC
requires atleast 2 DB Servers for no-downtime systems. Can u please
tell me why we required 2 DB Servers? In our case, LOC1 is the data
centre and LOC2 is the failsafe DB's. On failover, the application has
to switch to LOC2 standby DBs.



I'm bit confused with how data gaurd with RAC works. Can u please
brief explanation?
