10g CSS Daemon - start/stop ?

10g(10.1.0.3.0) + OHS

This standalone DB is just for learning.

Should I turn on the CSS service ? cause I read in OAS-10g doc that "Oracle recommends it be enabled...."
(I got only 312MB RAM on this thing...)

1. I don't think I installed/enabled ASM...how to verify ?
2. How to start/stop the CSS daemon ?
