Hello Jim,

ok this make it a little bit more clear ... do the following ... use dbca to create a database ... at the end of the dialog you will be queried whether to start the creation or store the information and create scripts to do it later. Choose the second option ... store the scripts ... and change to the folder containing this scripts. You will find a shell script with several svrgmrl calls in it. Invoke svrmgrl, do a connect internal and call all scripts from the shell scripts manually ... with one of this scripts you will have a problem ... please provide us with this information and maybe if possible ...also with the alert log in case it is already created one.
