running a 135 m rows table in 10.1.03 i'd say it's stable.

Async is working very nice.

Oracle 10.1.0.3 SLES9 x86 SCSI Raid 5, dual CPU x86, 512 MB RAM ;-) This combo is full certified.
Do not use 10.1.0.2 -> patchset 10.1.0.3 Use the new 10.1.0.3 release!
