Well, I have to disagree about that being an exception. The book in question happens to be one Oracle Press book I bought with my own pocket money, and the *only* thing worth having in that book is Jonathan's commentary, because it's only that commentary that makes you think. Otherwise, the rest of the book could have been written by the Oracle marketing department for all the insight and meaningful *evaluation* of the new features it brought to the party. Jonathan's perhaps cynical questioning in the commentary panels was the highlight of the entire work.

So I end up agreeing with your last statement. But AU$50 for probably one A4 page of Jonathan Lewis insight? I felt cheated!!

I did post that sort of thing to the Amazon Reviews, and they appeared there for a day and a half, before mysteriously disappearing into the aether. Odd how that sort of thing can happen, no?!
