Many things:

  1. 8.1.6 is among the worst mistakes Oracle ever made.
  2. 8.1.6 is unsupported and 8.1.7 will begin desupport in Dec.
  3. Why do you think changing init parameters has anything to do with your stated goal?
  4. Keep doing what you're doing any your resume will render you unemployable.
