SIGSEGV 11 - dbca - redhat 8

My googling was unsuccessful...many hits on www.dizwell.com but no info there.

Anyways, install is 9.2.0.1 & 9.2.0.4 Enterprise on RedHat 8.

Install successful.

DBCA crashes with SIGSEGV 11* + tons of arcane java.crapola.

I've tried jre 1.4.1 (works on my personal Slackware box) & jre 1.3.1.

Could this be a glibc 2.3.2 vs. 2.2.2 problem?

Anything else I can try?

Other recommendations appreciated.
