Ok, so in windows when I have to create a new db with a new instance, and I don't use DBCA ,
first I create instance with oradim then I'll create DB using sql*plus: CREATE DATABASE command, run catalog.sql, run catproc.sql etc.... etc... Isn't true or I missed something ?

When DB is just created, oradim start instance, then I can shutdown [immadiate/transactional/abort] "db" with sqlplus for manage tablespace  (such alter tablespace ... rename datafile or alter database ... raname ) or set db in archivelog/noarchivelog

Thanks

Luca
