It seems to me like you have come a long way. From a dedicated Windows user (I will not recompile my kernel, XPs are working out of the box) to an enthusiastic Linux tweaker (kernel recompiling is "remarkably pleasant and exhilerating experience"). :-) Congratulations for breaking of chains of the dominant OS. However, it was predictible. For a guy who enjoys playing with Oracle is playing with Linux just an expected behaviour. :-)

P.S. I'm feeling somehow ashamed now. Although all my test servers are running some kind of Unix, my personal computer and notebook are still using Windows XPs. The chains are just too tight for me. :-)
