Solaris 9205 3811906 patch #68 ELFCLASS32 errors

Help please:

Running the Solaris 9205 3811906 patch for security notice #68, we get

   ld: fatal: file /usr/ucblib/libucb.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32 errors.

I have scanned the newsgroup and metalink. I found several cases where the symptoms matched. I have yet to find a clear solution when all the parts are present.

I am not strong in Solaris, so simple answers are the best.

Environment
Solaris 9. Oracle 9.2.0.5 with no interum patches. We have many databases, one listener, and the int agent running on the box.
