I am trying to export data from 8.1.7.4.1 server with patch 12 on Win 2K, using a SQL*NET connection via 8.1.5.0 server on NT4 SP6.

I have run the 8.1.5 catexp into the 8.1.7 system, as sys, but I keep getting exp-00008 and ora-01406 when I export via the 8.1.5 server.

We need to support the 8.1.5 machine. What else should I be trying to get this data across ?
