Hi there,

Few days ago I have installed a DLL library in my database instance (library object was created in system schema, wrapper functions were created in system as well, execution rights on wrapper functions were granted to X schema, synonyms to wrapper functions were created in X schema, the listener process and extproc agent were configured in listener.ora and tnsnames.ora). Then I wrote a stored procedure in which external routines from the library were called. I have to add that my procedure was submited to a job. Everything worked fine but after several days I found hundreds of processes named EXTPROC.EXE in taskmanager. They have allocated all available memory. So instance couldn't work any more. Now I have to restart server every two days.

Have someone any idea, why so many extproc processes were created? Is there any known solution for this problem?

Many thanks in advance,
